WordPress Themes and Child Themes
A WordPress theme is a set of files that defines site appearance, placed in folders under wp-content/themes, one folder per theme.
- Child Theme：A child theme inherits the design and features of a parent theme while overriding only some parts. It lists the parent theme folder name in the "Template:" field of style.css.
- Theme Name vs. Folder Name：The theme name is the display name written in "Theme Name:" in style.css and differs from the folder name (e.g., cocoon-child-master), so they may not match.
Why Theme and Plugin Detection Works from HTML

Server provider is estimated by checking if the reverse DNS hostname of the connected IP address (e.g., sv12345.xserver.jp) ends with the provider's domain, so detection fails for servers without reverse DNS configured.
- Sites Behind a CDN：For sites routed through a CDN like Cloudflare, the visible IP address belongs to the CDN, so the actual server provider cannot be determined.
