What is Ping?

Ping is a standard connectivity check that sends a small confirmation signal to a remote server and measures the response time to determine if it can be reached and how fast the connection is. Response time is expressed in milliseconds (ms).

What is TCP/HTTP Method Verification?

Traditional ping (ICMP) is often blocked by firewalls, and no response does not necessarily mean the server is down. With TCP or HTTP methods that attempt to connect to service ports, you can verify whether the port accepts connections even in restricted environments.
